The full form of GDS is "GRAMIN DAK SEVAK".
A GRAMIN DAK SEVAK is mainly appointed by India Post to deliver it's services to Gramins (Villages).

"A Gramin Dak Sevak is a Person that is appointed for the Dak services to Gramins (Villagers)."
You may have seen that Post Delivery person often come to our doorstep to deliver our posts and he/she regularly work for us when some sends a Post to us.

If we talk about the work of GDS. It's is very similar to Post Man / Post delivery person but some other scenario it is quite different some how and here is the list how it is different from a post man.
